Commissioner of Environment Report Slams Federal Government

The federal government has some serious 'catching up' to do if it's going to meet its international legal obligations under the Kyoto Protocol. That's one of the key findings of the latest report of the Commissioner for the Environment and Sustainable Development. It's a pretty scathing report that highlights some serious problems in the way the federal government has been monitoring the environment and in particular, greenhouse gas emissions.
